Abstract

Since the Latin American context is marked by colonialism, domination and dependence, the intellectual history of Latin America is irremediably crossed by these issues. Seen in this way, the intellectual history of Latin America is simultaneously an intellectual history from Latin America. This means that it is always a situated story, which starts from a specific historical-geographical position.
