A Method with No End. Experience and History within Walter Benjamin's Concept of Work of Art
Abstract
The text deals with Walter Benjamin's conception of the work of art, history and experience based on the idea of method. The author moves away from the idea of a traditional theory by identifying that it uses a method consisting of the projection of the true knowledge that it makes accessible, a unilateral inasmuch as arbitrary idea. On the contrary, Benjamin conceives alternative procedures, thus constructing an unprecedented reflection on the historical and aesthetic experiences that define the character of modernity.
